The Fuzz – Fascia and Stretching

This is an amazing video by Gil Hedley about the fuzz (loose connective fascia). It shows the fascia, and the fuzz in the flesh, so to speak (there is a cadaver, so don’t watch if your too squeamish). This is great info to have under your belt for your practise.

As with all things, there is always going to be contradictions, disagreements and arguments. The following is an article from Paul Ingram debunking the recent works in fascia> It is interesting to note that it’s not naysaying the whole lot, but primarily focusing on some of the conclusions being drawn.

Gil himself has matured his thinking (and understanding) on the fuzz, which he now calls “filmy fascia” and believes should be present to certain extent, details in the following note.
